Charming early 17th century antique birds-eye prospect city view. Wood engraved with beautiful full hand color. Text on reverse as always for Munster maps.
Various activity in the foreground, wooden bridge leads across the river. Key at bottom in four columns identifies 14 specific features.
Sheet remains well preserved, keeping in mind map is not modern or new, tiny burn hole lower right blank margin backed with matching paper, so minor paper flaws unworthy of specific mention are sometimes to be expected. Clean, well-preserved and pleasing example, lovely visual appearance.
