Alexander Farnese Duke Parma Italy Piacenza.
Alexandro Farnese III Duque de Parma y Piacencia Gvb be los Paises Bajos.
Military commander, Governor of Low Countries, Spain, Italy.
Rare likely late 17th to early 18th century (?) anonymous engraved portrait.
Print has been long ago expertly mounted along the sliver edges to a larger sheet of nice hand-made paper in order to mount it at one point into a print collection album.
The backing sheet is mostly cut away, allowing the original print sheet to be completely examined front and back.
Pictures capture condition better than words, please review them carefully.
Nice copper engraved portrait, over 400 years old, so not new but no problem or issues aside from normal visible signs of handling, time and age common to most surviving paper images of this era.
Backing sheet measures c. 13 5/8" H x 8 5/8" W.
Engraved Image area c.10" x 6".
