10 different cards which includes a rare set of 6 cards by Geo. B. Fitch, Merchant Tailor, from Gloucester Mass. Text in English.
Also includes a (vending machine?) card which has an paper fortune folded and inserted in a slot as issued. Owl Dairy & Bread Company card (1921) is an invisible picture card that would be activated with color by using a wet brush. The football card is handmade and has an early date of 5-5 1898 hand written at bottom corner. The Mr. Peanut card is an optical illusion "spooky picture" card.
Lot of items is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.
Set gently age worn, yet each still remains overall attractive as objects.
Paper is mostly clean, internally well preserved, little staining or soiling, any flaws of a minor type unworthy of specific mention.
Set displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
