Issued 1766, Dublin?. Engraved after T. Jefferys for a rare Ireland geographical gazetteer as noted in right side blank margin.

Decorative mid-18th century engraved map with lovely full hand color.

Original fold lines as issued. Nice title vignette enhances the visual appeal.

Fold lines nicely backed with archival tissue paper with various other well done tissue repairs on reverse. Extensive tissue repairs, but all well done and allowing the map to be handled and displayed while possessing an utterly unique age patina.

Overall clean and attractive example, some light scattered age spotting to sheet, any age flaws are minor and don't detract visually.

Map still displays well and looks great.

Map sheet measures c. 7 5/8" x 12" W.
