Period leather binding, slightly raised bands, embossed compartment decorations and title lettering, embossed cover designs, silk end papers, all edges gilt. Front joint slightly scuffed, endpapers stained as typical, but binding remains clean, tight, and sound.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
