Charming little architectural interior, with columns, arches, statuary and numerous well-to-do figures wearing long robes and turbans with feathers.

Issued 1719, Frankfort, Germany for A.M. Mallet. Engraved by W. C. Daucher.

Charming early 18th century copper engraved title page print, with pleasing full hand color.

The image has a near folk-art feel, a style unique to this historical era. Utterly unlike anything produced today and of modern aesthetic appeal for this reason.

Mostly clean and well preserved example, the image displays a fine patina.

Sheet measures c. 5 7/8" x 8 7/8".

Printed area measures c. 4 1/8" x 6".
