Fine and uncommon large engraved print. With attractive full hand color (liklely newer).

The founding father and great American hero in a classic pose. Holding a sword pointed downward at his left side, hand outstretched, wooden table & chair by him, folio books, curtains, ornate rug, shoes with buckles. A very nice print, please read further for details.

Condition is interesting. Print has been nicely and professionally conserved. The main engraved area appears to remain clean & intact as issued, the surface displaying a light and rather minor dustiness or faint light spotting. The surrounding blank margins have been re-inforced on the back with paper all around in a careful archival manner. the margins have been touched up or laid down in a manner which displays careful skill. It appears there was once a short 2" split near top right side, but this has been repaired so expertly that it is essentially invisible even when you are looking for it.

Once framed, a spectacular old print of, let's be honest, the greatest American who ever lived.

Print remains overall clean & sound. Old prints often display small minor repairs on the back, could have uneven blank margins, might have extraneous fold-lines or other small minor age flaws which do not detract from the visual appeal or value. Condition is carefully considered in arriving at our price.
