Manuscript accounting log book Journals periodicals pamphlets 1842 Hopkinton NH
Brian DiMambro- Antiquarian Books, Maps & Prints

Early 19th century likely American (once) blank accounting journal, likely c1840. Approximately 300 pages, I count approx. 62 pages with early manuscript Stationer’s accounting notations on them dating 1841-43.
Also included are an assortment of apparently related loose smaller financial manuscript documents.
Most entries appear to mention journals, periodicals and other paper made related booklets, journals, etc.
An early owners name signed Horace Chase -? Hopkinton, NH to front pastedown.
Disbound, numerous pages or signatures detached, journal broken down middle (to help it lie flat for use no doubt).
Paper is toned, various scattered stains, some corners curled or bent, various pages detached or loose.
The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina, the age flaws easy to overlook given the use of the item.
Please review photos for more detail showing how this unique accounting journal survives.
Book Measures c. 11 3/4” x 8”.
