Paper uniformly age toned, old damp stain across bottom corners of sheet visible as a light to moderate tide-mark as seen.

3" split at base of centerfold with some paper wrinkling/ creasing- see pics.

Despite the old light staining, map still displays very well and looks nice enough to display.

Uncommon 1870 variant of a Johnson map which went through numerous revisions over the years.

Large folio, original centerfold, sheet size c. 26 1/2 “ x 17 3/4“.
