Paris City Plan w/ Eiffel Tower c.1920-40 hand painted silk fabric map folk art

From Paris, To My Dear Wife.
Created c.1920-40's (? likely), silk fabric handkerchief with contrasting needle and thread stitched border.

Early to mid-20th century original cartographic artwork, hand painted handkerchief. Created as a gift souvenir or memento from a husband to his wife. The numerous old fold lines would strongly suggest it was created to send home from Paris to American within a small letter. Borders on cartographic folk art.

Item is well over 50 years old (possibly close to 100) and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

Remains overall completely attractive as an object, mostly clean and fresh, just minor light age staining.
