Card stock paper, lithographed front, central circular hole cutout for entire moon area as issued with tinted tissue paper on reverse creating an optical visual glow when strong light is placed behind the print.

Scarce mid-19th century celestial image. Entirely hand made one at a time, rare thus. Very fragile item, in splendid original condition.

Clean, nice condition, light small scattered spotting, light toning along edges.

Photos display print better than words. Will be shipped flat well protected between cardboard.

Sheet measures c. 11 1/8” x 8 7/8”.
