Card stock paper, lithographed front, holes cutout for planets, stars and sun as issued with tissue paper on reverse creating an optical almost sparkling visual glow when strong light is placed behind the print.
Scarce mid-19th century celestial image. Entirely hand made one at a time, rare thus.
Clean, fine condition, light toning along edges.
Photos display print better than words. Will be shipped flat well protected between cardboard.
Sheet measures c. 11 1/8” x 8 7/8”.
