Splendid deluxe period full leather binding, covers richly ornately gilt stamped with designs raised & gilt bands, gilt compartment decorations & title lettering, all edges and turn ins decoratively gilt. A large central figure of a robed woman holding her hands on a Bible and stack of paper which are giving her electric enlightenment energy.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time.
Binding gently lightly age worn, but survives bright and clean, the flaws all small and easy to overlook.
Text block paper is clean, tight, square, internally well preserved, minor small scattered age staining, a very nice antique book.
Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
