The Granite State of the United States: A History of New Hampshire from 1623 to the Present, by James Duane Squire.
Published 1956, New York, by the American Historical Company.
4 volumes, each c. 400 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout with b&w photos and dozens of portraits (printed in different methods).
Publisher's cloth bindings, gilt title lettering.
Set is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Set is not new or in "new" condition.
Bindings lightly age worn, yet still remain sound, tight, mostly clean, some minor light old age spot staining to gutters, overall attractive as a set.
Text block paper is clean, internally well preserved, any flaws of a minor type. Nice old set of books.
Still attractive on the shelf. Set displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique set survives.
