The Ladies' World.
Published monthly, 1902, New York by S.H. Moore & Co.
4 issue lot, each issue c. 36 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout. Abundant period advertising.
Illustrated paper wrappers. Rare ephemeral survival. Issues included in this lot: June, September, November, December 1902.
Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.
All issues of this periodical are uncommon/ scarce due to the date and their large fragile size.
Bindings age worn, old soft horizontal creases with some short splits at ends of numerous pages throughout, some tears along spines, yet still remain overall attractive as objects.
Text block paper is toned, light soiling in spots, normal signs of reading and age.
Still attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique lot survives.
