The Nation's Capital.
Published c. 1921-23, Washington D.C. by W.B. Garrison.
48 tipped in rotogravure printed plates.
Large oblong format illustrated paper cover tourist souvenir view book, original decorative binding cord. Front cover detached, please see photos.
Souvenir is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding age worn, front cover detached, chipped, stained, spine perished, contents still sound and tight as issued, string ties still in place, remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is toned, light to moderate scattered age spotting, internally well preserved, tight, sound.
Despite the condition of the fragile exterior binding, the contents remains mostly clean, fresh and pleasing. Nice example of this type of early 20th century commercial printing.
Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique item survives.
