Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.
Bindings gently age worn, signs of handling but nothing offensive or severe, lot remains overall attractive as an object.
The Tissandier book covers show more wear and splits and staining, the entire text block has a wrinkle/ ripple effect as a result of old damp staining (no odor and evidence is very light) .
Paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
