Lot x 6 Leibig's Fleisch-Extract Trade Cards.
Published 1905, Germany by Leibig's Fleish-Extract.
6 chromolithographed early 20th century trade cards comprising the set. Text in German.
A visually splendid (and undervalued) set featuring six beautiful Mucha-type women set against reflective gold back grounds.
Lot is over 100 years old and shows only trivial minor signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition but is about as close as one could hope for.
Each card is clean, fresh, nice, most corners could be considered sharp (not rounded).
Still attractive on the shelf. The scarce cards display a pleasing and unique age patina and overall are in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this set survives.
Cards measure c. 3" H x 4 1/4" W.
