Text block damp stained and age worn from browsing throughout. Clearly a book which has seen a lot of wear and handling over time. Despite the condition, still fascinating contents.
Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering.
Front joint cracked, cover loosely held, but text block remains clean, tight, and sound.
Text block displays a pleasing age patina, light spotting throughout.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
