(Old Magazines, 20th Century Magazines, Americana, Fashion, Fabric Industry, Trade Magazines, Illustrated Magazines).

American Fabrics Magazine.
Published quarterly, 1951-55, New York, by Reporter Publications Inc.
3 issues, each c. 100 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout. Nice assortment of dated advertising as well, often illustrated.

Each issue with many small original pieces of fabric pasted in by publisher as issued.

Nice magazine with pleasing visual content. Wonderful illustrated covers. Issues include Summer 1951, Fall 1954, and Winter 1954-55.

Bindings show signs of handling but remain mostly clean, tight, and sound, various small flaws virtually always seen on old news stand magazines. Overall nice looking examples.

Small age flaws or defects include possible random old creasing, edge chipping, small light old damp staining, etc. Overall entirely acceptable example of what is likely a scarce survival. The pictures give a very good sense of how the set survives.

Virtually all periodicals of this era are somewhat scarce today as loose complete issues. Like most random survivals of old periodical printing, any specific example (like this one) is likely among a relative handful still extant.

Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina.

Magazines remain attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique set survives. This set is not new- it is old and has been handled by different owners in the past.

Magazines Measure c. 14 1/2" H x 11" W.
