Publisher's embossed pictorial cloth binding, gilt title lettering, pictorial cover decorations.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, text block of images becoming separated from paste-down (due to weight of it), signs of handling but nothing offensive or severe, remains overall clean, bright, very attractive as an object.

Paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
