Attractive period antiquarian 1/4 leather binding, smooth spine, marbled covers.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Endpapers used for writing long ago (based on endpaper use, likely written by a left handed penman).

Binding gently rubbed and age worn but still appealing, leather and joints slightly rubbed but leather still supple, book remains overall very attractive as an object. A nice example which displays a particularly pleasing and unique  patina ("glow") from almost 200 years of use and handling.

Text block paper is gently age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly tight and sound, scattered age stains, never offensive. A book which has been taken care of but may/ does not look like new.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
