442 pages. Engraved frontis with 20 tiny portraits.

Period full mottled calf binding, smooth spine nicely gilt stamped and lettered. Joints worn and scuffed although binding remains sound, tight and still attractive. Some surface cracking to leather spine with a couple old repairs, contents well age toned but mostly clean, one leaf with old ink spots. Old institutional bookplate to front pastedown.

Book measures: 7 1/8" H X 4 1/2" W.
