Publisher's ornate pictorial cloth binding, gilt title lettering, embossed spine decorations, gilt and embossed cover designs.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, small light age staining or rubbing which is never severe nor offensive.
Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina. A handful of illustrations have some minor old hand color to them.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
