Nice and scarce early 20th century Boy Scout item, likely among the earliest artifacts a collector can obtain today. The group was formed in the USA c.1910 and the publisher of this book stopped in 1917, so a very early and likely rare item for the group.
Period illustrated color lithographed paper covered boards, cloth spine.
Binding bright, old light soiling and small scattered staining (nothing offensive), still tight and sound. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, many pages with a child's coloring.
Book remains well preserved and visually attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
