Seeing Chicago: The Gray Line.
Published c. 1940's, Chicago by Marshall Field & Company.
Publisher's paper wrapper with many small photos, a large single sheet multi-folded into panels, printed in color on both sides.
One of the sides folds in half to become a frameable pictorial cartoon map of the city which has many small images, some of which are humorous.
Item is old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Paper slightly rubbed, remains overall clean and attractive as a fragile ephemeral survival.
Still attractive, the scarce pamphlet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this vintage tourist cartoon map survives.
Covers measures c. 9" H x 4" W.
