Book is slightly bowed, probably fixable by placement in a book press for a spell.

Period full leather gift binding, raised bands, gilt title, embossed cover and compartments designs, all edges and turn ins gilt, marbled end papers. 

Book remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. Joints a bit scuffed, slight rubbing and wear, overall leather remains supple, covers firmly attached. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
