All with interesting early packaging designs, including many displaying strong Art Nouveau aesthetics. Mostly photographic black and white on heavy matte finished photographic paper stock, nice assortment of c.20 color printed ads. Ads grouped by product categories, such as boxes, soaps, powders, shaving, vaseline, etc
Original period leather binding, original spine screws allowing for expansion at the time. Front cover gilt lettered.
Condition: Leather now dried, scuffed and with small areas of loss. Front cover loose and held by hinge cloth only, heavy contents too much for the original binding and it shows it. Shaken, but still sound, tight, pleasing survival of a unique item. Rare thus.
Book measures: 11 3/8" H X 8 3/8" W.
Heavy book, feels like a large brick block when you lift it.
