(Children's Games, Puzzles, Egypt, Pyramids, Camels, Uncle Sam).
Issued c. 1880, New York by E.G. Selchow & Co.
Two color lithographed puzzles within their original box.
First one shows five African-American boys in a humorous situation in Egypt (Sphinx in the background), the other shows Uncle Sam riding a pony.
Interesting ephemeral survival of inherently fragile colorful graphic items. No doubt scarce in any condition.
Well preserved, nice looking example with pleasing age patina.
Box Measures c. 8 3/4" H x 8 3/4" W.
Each puzzle measures 14 1/4" W x 10 3/4" H. Both are complete as seen and overall clean.
