Farmer's Meditations 1833 Thomas Randall poetry book Limerick ME w/ custom case

The Farmer's Meditations: Or Shepherd's Songs, by Thomas Randall.
Apparently published 1833, Limerick, Maine by William Burr.
252 pages. Text in English. Lacking title page, which has been written by hand on front paste down by early owner. Book opens to preface leaf and concludes with Index leaf which stops at letter "H".

Evidently a very rare book! We find no other examples of it currently for sale online nor any other works from this Limerick Maine printer. 

Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands. Front joint cracked, front cover loosened, leather scuffed, but still remains sound. 

Some rubbing on front covers, leather dried on spine. Interior contents with light to moderate spotting and soiling throughout, small scattered staining, couple pages with some loss at corners or short edge tears.

In later 19th century custom leather book case, with raised bands and gilt title lettering.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
