Period leather bindings, smooth spines, gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering on contrasting black leather labels, marbled end papers.

Bindings display overall gentle aging, but remain clean, tight, and sound.

Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, with minor staining and age spotting throughout. Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
