Binding stamped by Stikeman of Boston. Excellent early custom bookplate of Walter E. Malley.

Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt title lettering, marbled covers, top edges gilt. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, small minor scratching to leather in spots, but leather remains supple. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, largely free of age spotting.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
