432 pages. Text in English. With a folding engraved map of North America dated 1800 (no world map).
Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands (now faded), gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label.
Map still nice looking, some neat old repairs on reverse to fold lines using archival tape.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
