Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt title lettering, marbled covers. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound although the top corner leather is well scuffed and slightly surface damaged as is the fore edge of the bottom corner leather. 

Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, clean and largely free of age spotting.

Binding stamped by Stikeman of Boston. Excellent early custom bookplate of Walter E. Malley.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
