Period 1/2 leather binding, slightly raised bands, elaborate gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering on contrasting leather label, marbled covers.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Covers lightly scuffed or rubbed, leather remains supple, book has a pleasing age patina.
Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina. Old institutional rubber stamp to title page, otherwise no other markings seen within or outside.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
