(Old Newspapers, Early 20th Century Periodicals, Women's Magazines, Illustrated Magazines, Period Advertising).
The Ladies' World.
Published monthly, New York by S.H. Moore & Co.
4 issue lot, each issue c. 36 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout. Abundant period advertising (such as Cream of Wheat), including color rear covers.
Illustrated paper wrappers, large oversized folio format. Rare ephemeral survivals. Issues included in this lot: October 1903, February & July 1906, August 1909.
Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.
Bindings age worn, old soft horizontal creases, edge wear as always due to format and paper, yet each still remains overall attractive as objects.
Text block paper is clean, internally well preserved, minor scattered staining or soiling, any flaws of a minor type unworthy of specific mention.
Still attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this nice antique lot survives.
