Leather bindings beautiful pair 2 old books 1864-72 hand color plates gilt patterns

Two beautiful 19th century French leather bindings. Both are lovely antiquarian books, light wear but clean, pleasing and well preserved.

pp. 576. Full leather, gilt decorated covers and spine, all edges gilt, four beautiful hand colored plates.

Grandeurs de Saint Joseph.
1864, Clermont-Ferrand, Librairie Catholique.
pp. 424. Unusual and fine embossed and diced leather binding. Spine richly gilt decorated and lettered, covers with intricate patterning and diamond shapes. Marbled edges and endpapers.
