McCall's & Ladie's Home Journal 1964-1967 Lot x 10 old magazines women

Wonderful lot of ten (10) different mid-1960's Women's magazines.

Dates range 1964-1967.

All contain endless period illustrated advertisements (often color), great fashion photography, writings by famous authors on a wide range of subjects, etc. Each a small time capsule into the month and year.

Contributors include Norman Rockwell, Milton Berle, Lady Bird Johnson, Sophia Loren, British model Twiggy, etc.

All appear to be complete, including many original separately printed detachable coupon inserts.

Some typical wear, soiling, scratches, edge chips etc. to covers, spine paper sometimes lacking in small spots, original mailing labels on covers, obviously old magazines which have been handled, moved around and looked through.

Overall, each issue remains mostly sound, internally clean and fresh, fairly well preserved given how few have survived at all, and still very pleasing to browse through. Hours of fun reading these, endless ads worth framing, displaying, giving away to friends, etc.

Issues measure: 13 1/2" H X 10 5/8" W.
Stack measures: 2 1/2".

A very heavy lot, like a large brick, due to dense coated stock paper originally used.
