Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt title and lettering, cloth covered boards, marbled end papers. Old institutional book plates to pastedown & endpaper plus small old rubber stamp to t.p.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Small scuff spots, short cracking at base of joints, covers still strongly attached, binding is firm and tight, very clean all around. 

Scarce 19th century periodical.
