Guide includes extensive tourist railroad and steamboat time tables for across the region, extending up into Canada and across to the White Mountains of NH.

Profusely illustrated throughout, many intext vignettes, 8 lithographed views (Jewett, Thomas & Co.), & 17 full page wood engraved views.

Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering & spine decorations, embossed cover decorations.

Clean example, a remarkable condition survival. Exceptionally fresh, seemingly placed on a shelf 170 years ago and just now removed.

Binding remains clean, square, tight, and sound. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, light to perhaps occasional moderate scattered age spotting.

Exceptionally attractive example, just a tiny dot of cloth loss on front cover edge.
