366 pages. Text in English. Large folding color lithographed map at front. Profusely illustrated throughout with bw photos, including early panoramic views of numerous locations. A few pictorial period ads for major hotels.
Rare work in the wrappers with the large color map. Not to be confused with the much more common cloth bound version with no map.
Publisher's illustrated paper wrappers, extracted from a hardcover binding so spine is plain paper.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding gently age worn, front cover edge chipped slightly, remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
