Hand Sketches of the Panama Canal.
Publ. by I.L. Maduro, Jr., Cathedral Plaza, Panama City.
Damp staining to covers and along spine of text block, small light staining in some blank margins, views overall remain entirely clean and nice looking.
Heavy paper, really nice views which appear to be outstanding detailed drawings then printed by tinted lithography.
Seems likely the lithographic printing was done within Panama, which is quite interesting for printed images of this era.
24 tinted lithographs.
Scarce late 19th / early 20th century tourist view book.
