312 pages (complete). Text in English. Wood engraved frontispiece, approx. 22 large woodcuts throughout.
Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering.
Book is disbound, covers detached, dried and stained, spine leather is well chipped, several pages are loose. Book is in rather poor physical condition but still displays a noble survival appearance.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, first few leaves and frontis are detached.
Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
