Publisher's pictorial paper wrappers, early supplemental (?) paper tape along spine. Note the price at top right, indicating individual sale.
For a collector of this subject, an ephemeral lot of great interest due to the potentially unique woodcut depicting the event, with what appears to be early (original?) hand color. Almost certainly scarce/ rare in the market to find similar in appearance to as found here.
Pamphlets are approaching 200 years old and shows some signs of handling and time.
Binding and paper well uniformly age toned, loss of some blank margin - mostly light or inoffensive signs of handling and time but nothing severe or unsightly, pamphlet remains overall attractive as an object. The type of item which has the potential to be almost unique or virtually impossible to locate another for sale example of.
The pamphlets display a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail showing how this lot survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books, maps and printed ephemera of all types and genres. Flaws seen and/ or described have been taken into account.
