A very scarce/ rare juvenile book with five original hand colored plates relating to harlequins.

Binding remains sound, leather spine with small spots of loss. 

Interior contents toned, yet display a pleasing age patina with light to moderate scattered small old age spotting throughout. Text block slightly shaken, some signatures or pages slightly askew.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina as the result of decades of handling and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
