Early account of travel between Quebec and Lima, Peru, passing through the United States southwest.

Period 1/2 leather binding, raised & gilt bands, gilt title lettering, marbled covers.

Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, leather rubbed but still supple, joints slightly scuffed, small thin crack line along rear joint with slight damage along spine band, covers still strongly attached, still remains overall attractive as an object.

Text block paper is toned, light scattered age spotting, internally well preserved, tight, sound. Two pages with minor discreet closed edge tears.

Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
