Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt title lettering, embossed (stamped in blind) compartment decorations, top edge gilt, marbled end papers.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, some rubbing and wear to tips of corners. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, largely free of age spotting. Old institutional rubber stamp to title page.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
