Rare 18th century American imprint in any condition. Poor condition, but still a noble survival.
Old full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands. Front cover is not original to the book but is an old replacement that fits almost perfectly (see pics).
Front cover detached. Rear cover mostly detached, held only by single cord. Text block remains clean, tight, and sound. Book opens to title page, ends with contents leaf (no blanks).
Text block toned, tiny edge chipping to title, scattered staining and spotting, one page with early careful owners thread repair to close tear.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
