4 bounds bound together as a salesman sample to use while trying to solicit subscriptions, original covers and many pages however books in this format were never complete but rather partial to give an idea of what to expect. Text in English. Illustrated throughout.

Publisher's cloth folio protective binding with oblong folding flaps.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn as always, a few images with early hand coloring, signs of removal of names from the subscription section at rear, some splitting, detached pages, etc., mostly light minor signs of careful handling and time but nothing offensive or severe, book remains overall attractive on the shelf.

Paper is gently toned, still clean, tight, sound internally.

The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present appear to us easy to overlook or forgive.
