45  pages. Text in English. Illustrated throughout w/ b&w photos. Large folding map printed on blue paper at rear.
Illustrated color lithographed paper wrappers, text block, map tipped in to rear cover as issued.
Map compiled 1929 by Frederic T. Bailey of N. Scituate, key along bottom left notes Episode in the Tercentenary Observance on Sept 2 & 3, 1936. Nice pictorial style with many small buildings illustrated in cartoon birds-eye style. Inset lower right details the "Storm of 1898".
Map mostly clean and fresh, some slight browning along fold lines, minor scattered spotting or light staining, nice looking.
Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding age worn, covers split along spine and now loose, text block separate from covers, map still fresh and nice, yet still remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is clean, internally well preserved, little staining or soiling, any flaws of a minor type unworthy of specific mention.
Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
